Neumann's Marlon Gardner earns ECAC Men's West Player of the Week

Player of the Week
Marlon Gardner - Neumann College
Freshman, Foward - Eaglelake, Ontario/Dryden Ice Dogs
Marlon helped lead the Knights to two wins over conference rival
and nationally ranked, #9 Manhattanville. On Friday, Marlon
recorded his second career hat trick of the season, as he scored
three power-play goals, including the game winner. On
Saturday, Marlon recorded an assist on the overtime winner leading
the Knights to a 4-3 win.
Goalie of the Week
Ross MacKinnon - Neumann College
Freshman - Manchester, Conn./Bridgewater Bandits
Ross was in between the pipes as the Knights won their first two
ECAC West games of the season, and the first two conference wins of
his young career. The freshman goaltender made a total of 42
saves in the two games, 24 Friday night and 18 Saturday night.
Rookie of the Week
Tim Coffman - Utica College
Freshman, Foward - Elverson, Pa./Laconia (AJHL)
Coffman netted a team-high three goals and added three assists in
a 2-0 week for the Pioneers. He tallied two goals, including
the game-winner, in the Pioneers' 4-2 ECAC West conference victory
over Lebanon Valley Wednesday. He added his seventh goal of
the season as the Pioneers' defeated Johnson & Wales 8-1 Friday
night. Coffman currently ranks second in the nation averaging
2.60 points per contests.
Honor Roll
John Clewlow - Elmira College
Freshman, Foward - Brampton, Ontario/Dixie Bee Hives (OPJHL)
Clewlow finished with one goal and one assist in Friday's 4-2 win
over Utica College. He earned an assist on the first goal of
the game - a one timer just 3:49 into the game. His
game-winning goal in the second period came 24 seconds after
Elmira's second score. Clewlow is the team's highest scoring
freshman with two goals and four assists for six total points this
season.
Casey Tuttle - Elmira College
Junior, Goalie - Chelsea, ME./Portland Jr. Pirates
Tuttle allowed just two goals in 60 minutes to claim his third
victory of the season. He made 35 saves, including 16 stops
in the final period to preserve a slim 3-2 lead. Tuttle also
registered an assist on the Soaring Eagles' fourth goal of the
game, scored with 58 seconds remaining.
Anthony Scarpino- Hobart College
Freshman, Foward - Meadville, Pa./Cumberland
Scarpino tallied his first collegiate points in Hobart's win over
the Rams. He notched the game-winning goal and added an
assist in his second career game.
