Hobart's Blake Bonham earns ECAC Men's West Player of the Week

Blake Bonham - Hobart College
Junior, Foward - Toronto, Ontario/Newmarket
Hurricanes
Bongam scored a hat trick to lead the 11th-ranked statesmen past
#13 Neumann. Hobart won the contest 5-4 in overtime, after
Bonham netted the game-tying goal with 16 seconds left in
regulation to send the game into extra time. Two minutes, 49
seconds into overtime, he scored the game-winner. Bonham also
notched a goal earlier in the game.
Goalie of the Week
Keith Longo - Hobart College
Freshman - Manchester, Conn./Bridgewater Bandits
Senior, Milford, Mass./Central Texas
Longo recorded a 2.45 goals against average and a .911 save
percentage in a 2-0-0 weekend for the 11th-ranked Statemen.
He picked up 22 saves in a 4-1 win over Lebanon Valley, and
collected 29 more in a 5-4 overtime victory at No. 13
Neumann. He owns a 5-2-0 overall mark in net with a 2.85 GAA
and a league-best .916 save percentage
Rookie of the Week
Mike Leone - Utica College
Foward, Dearborn, Mich./St. Louis
Leone totaled a game-high four assists in the Pioneers' 6-1 win
over UMass Dartmouth Saturday night. He currently has a
team-high 11 assists this season, good for second in the nation,
and his 15 points is tied with teammate Tim Coffman for the team
lead. Leone and Coffman are also tied for first in the nation
in points per game among rookies.
Honor Roll
Albert Mitchell - Elmira College
Senior, Foward - Davison, Mich./Green Mountain Glades
Mitchell finished with four goals and an assist for five total
points. The senior captain started by registering EC's third
score in their 3-1 win over Neumann College. Mitchell added
an assist on Elmira's opening score also. On Saturday,
Mitchell added a goal in every period, including a short-handed,
unassisted marker with 34 seconds remaining in the second half.
Kevin Bolin - Elmira College
Sophomore, Goalie - Islip Terrance, NY/Green Mountain
Glades
Bolin held Lebanon Valley scoreless for his first shutout of the
season. It's his second collegiate shutout. Bolin made
13 saves, including eight in the second period to improve to 1-0
this winter.
Brock Sawyer - Elmira College
Freshman, Defenseman - Toronto, Ontario/Powell River
Kings
Sawyer started two games at defense and added two assists.
His first assist came on EC's first goal against Neumann. His
second assist came on EC's fourth goal against Lebanon Valley.
Anthony Scarpino - Hobart College
Freshman, Foward, Meadville, Pa./Cumberland
Scarpino notched two assists in a 2-0-0 weekend for No. 11
Hobart. Both assists came in the Statesmen's 4-1 win a
Lebanon Valley
