UMass-Boston's Lauren Duran earns ECAC Women's East Player of the Week

Player of the Week
Lauren Duran - University of Massachusetts, Boston
Sophomore, Foward - Woburn, Ma./Chelmsford Lions
In two games, Duran tallied four goals and an assist for five
points. The forward tallied two goals and added an assist in
the Beacons' 6-1 victory over Nichols. She netted two more
goals the following day, including the game-winner vs. Salve Regina
in a 5-4 win.
Goalie of the Week
Teraysa White - New England College
Freshman, Belgrade, ME./Brewster Academy
White picked up her first collegiate win in net for the Pilgrims
this weekend allowing just one goal in NEC's 5-1 victory on Friday
night. Saturday White stopped an impressive 44 shots on goal as the
Pilgrims fell to Norwich 1-2. For the weekend White allowed
three goals and made 66 saves.
Rookie of the Week
Stacey Hochkins - College of the Holy Cross
Foward, New Boston, Mich.
Hochkins had a total of eight points on the weekend for Holy
Cross. She scored three goals and had 3 assists in the win
over Nichols, followed up by two assists in the win over
Manhattanville College
Honor Roll
Julie Fortier - Norwich University
Freshman, Foward - Saint-Malachie, Quebec/Levis Lauzon
Fortier scored two goals against Saint Anselm College and two
against New England College as Norwich went to 1-1 over the
weekend.
Rebecca Simmons - Salve Regina
Freshman, Goalie - Averill Park, N.Y./Keystone National
Simmons stopped 39 of 41 shots to lead the Seahawks to a 6-2 win
over Sacred Heart. She stopped all 17 shots she faced in the
first period, including a pair of short-handed breakaways.
Simmons stopped 18-21 shots she faced against UMass-Boston on
Saturday. She boasts a .919 save percentage.
Caitlin Campbell - Salve Regina
Senior, Forward - Hingham, Mass./Archbishop Williams
Campbell recorded her second-career hat trick in the Seahawks' 6-2
win over Sacred Heart on Saturday. She also added an assist
against the Pioneers and dished out a helper in a 5-4 loss at
UMass-Boston on Saturday night. Campbell leads the Seahawks
(3-1) with eight points (4-4-8).
