MIT's Kameron Klauber earns ECAC Women's East Player of the Week

Player of the Week
Kameron Klauber - Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Freshman, Foward - Carlsbad, Calif./Carlsbad
Klauber recorded five points in the first two games of her young
intercollegiate career, including a hat trick against Saint
Anselm. The freshman's contributions helped MIT to a 1-1
record voer the weekend, including the first win in a season opener
in the program history.
Goalie of the Week
Carley Berry - Saint Anselm College
Sophomore, Danvers, Mass./Governor Dummer Academy
Berry had a 21 save performance against MIT this past Saturday
giving her 56 saves on the year, a .903 save percentage, and a
2-0-0 record.
Rookie of the Week
Kathleen Roche - Salve Regina University
Foward, Boston, Mass./Boston Latin School
Roche netted the game-winning goal with three seconds left in
regulation to lift Salve Regina to a 4-3 win at Nichols
College. The goal was the first of her career. Roche
also collected an assist on the Seashawks' first goal against the
Bison and has four points (1-3-4) on the season.
Honor Roll
Natalie Zitek - Manhattanville College
Senior, Center - Charleston, W. V../Gilmour
Zitek scored three goals on three shots and added an assist all in
the first period to help Manhattanville to an 8-1 win over UMass
Boston. The senior assistant captain recorded her first
career hat trick in the first 9:55 of the opening frame, scoring
five and nine seconds into two Valiant power-plays. She then
matched her career high with her fourth point, an assist.
Karine Turmel - Manhattanville College
Senior, Goalie - Ste-Marguerite, Quebec/Notre
Dame
Turmel turned away 25 of 26 shots as Manhattanville defeated UMass
Boston, 8-1, on Saturday night. The senior made 15 of her
season-high 25 saves in the first 20 minutes of play, allowing her
team to open up an early lead. She also turned away 18 shots
while the Beacons were on the power play.
Molly Corl - Saint Anselm College
Freshman, Forward - Danvers, Mass./World Hockey Centre
Corl had four points on the week in two games for the Hawks.
Against Saint Michael's, she posted a goal and an assist in a 4-1
win and had two assists in a 5-3 victory over MIT to complete the
2-0-0 week.
