Buffalo State's women's hockey team has initiated a season-long mentoring program with the Buffalo Bisons Girls U12B hockey team.

The Bengals' coaching staff and three different players each Tuesday, visit the team and run practice as a means of developing individual and team skills.  Buffalo State's players are in a position to serve as role models to the youngsters on and off the ice, stressing the values of hard work both at the rink and in the classroom. 

The Bisons plan to attend a Buffalo State practice and upcoming contest.  In addition, the teams are planning a mixer during the upcoming holiday season.
