COLUMBUS, Ohio - Former Buckeye Anthony Kelly was part of the winning Old School team in the 2009 Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game, downing the Young Guns squad which included Buckeye alum Ricky Pages. The Old School team won the game 22-21 in overtime, Thursday night at Invesco Field in Denver in front of 10,123 fans.

Kelly, who plays for the Chicago Machine, won 22-of-40 faceoffs, scored a two-point goal in the second quarter and assisted on Brian Langtry's two-point score in the opening stanza. Kelly took part in the skills competition at halftime but was unable to defend his Hardest Shot title won a year ago. He has played in seven games for the Machine, winning 96-of-193 faceoffs, with two goals scored.

Pages, in his first all-star game, scored a goal for the Young Guns early in the second quarter. He had one groundball in the game. He has played in seven games for the Long Island Lizards this year, ranking second on the team with 23 groundballs, and has one goal.

Fans can bid now through Aug. 14 on game-worn autographed jerseys from the all-star game online at http://mll.charitybuzz.com/viewLots.do, with the money raised going to the Boys & Girls Clubs.
