2009-10 ECAC Holiday Festival Participants Announced

CAPE COD, Mass. - The ECAC is pleased to announce that in conjunction with Disney Sports the conference will be hosting its Second Annual ECAC Holiday Festival in two separate sessions; December 20-24, 2009 and January 1-5, 2010. The event will feature 12 Division III men's and women's basketball teams, all from regions within the ECAC membership.

ECAC Announces Sixth Weekly Lambert Meadowlands Poll

The ECAC has announced the sixth weekly ECAC® Lambert Meadowlands Football Poll presented by FieldTurf. In the Bowl Subdivision poll, Cincinnati (10-0), ranked No. 5 nationally, continues to hold the top spot. Villanova (9-1) claimed the top spot in the Championship Subdivision poll. In Division II, Shippensburg (9-2) remains in the top spot. Unbeaten Wesley (10-0) remains in the top spot in the Division III poll.

UNE brings 2009 ECAC Title Home with 3-2 overtime win over Plymouth State

Senior forward Taryn Flagg (Livermore Falls, Maine) scored with 2:13 elapsed in overtime to give the University of New England the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Championship with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Plymouth State University in field hockey action under the lights Monday night.

Twelve teams selected to ECAC Football Bowl Championship Games

Swarthmore Wins Third Consecutive ECAC Title With 1-0 Victory Over PSU-Behrend

Junior Kirsten Peterson netted the game-winning goal in the 56th minute to lead the Swarthmore College women's soccer team to its third consecutive ECAC South Region Championship , defeating PSU-Behrend 1-0 on Sunday afternoon from Altoona.

Pioneers Win ECAC Women's Soccer Title, 2-1 in Overtime

Freshman Michelle Marabondo provided the game-winning goal for the second straight day for the Pioneers, this one 5:39 into overtime, as second-seeded William Paterson (13-7-3) defeated top-seeded NYU (10-8-1), 2-1, to win the 2009 ECAC Women’s Soccer Metro Region Tournament title Nov. 15 at NJIT’s Lubetkin Field.

Senior Michelle Gibaud scored a goal and added an assist to lead The College at Brockport Women’s Soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Medaille College in the championship game of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Upstate New York Tournament Sunday at A. Huntley Parker Jr. Field in Brockport.

Coast Guard defeats Plymouth State to win 2009 ECAC Division III New England Women's Volleyball Championship

Freshman Lauren Bloch earned Most Outstanding Player honors as third-seeded Coast Guard won the ECAC Division III New England championship by beating top-seeded and host Plymouth State 3-1 (25-22, 25-20, 22-25, 26-24).
