ECAC To Crown Seven Football Champions Saturday


CAPE COD, Mass. - Fourteen teams have been selected to participate in the seven ECAC Division III Football Bowl Championship games to be played on Saturday, November 22.

In the ECAC Northeast Bowl Championship, St. John Fisher (6-4) will travel to Bangor, Maine to play Husson (7-2). Also in the north region, Rensselaer (7-2) will host Alfred University (7-3) in the ECAC North Atlantic Bowl Championship game. In the ECAC Northwest Bowl Championship, Hartwick College (7-2) was selected to host The College at Brockport (6-4).

In the South Region, host Johns Hopkins (8-2) will face Catholic University (8-2) in the ECAC Southeast Bowl Championship game on the JHU campus in Baltimore.  Albright (7-3) will travel to Montclair State (8-2) for the ECAC South Central Bowl Championship, while Salisbury University (7-2) will travel to host Moravian (8-2) in the ECAC Southwest Bowl Championship game. In the seventh bowl game, Delaware Valley College (8-2) will host Kean University (7-3) in the ECAC South Atlantic Bowl Championship.

Five of the seven ECAC Bowl Championship games have been tentatively scheduled for a noon kickoff.
