UNION, N.J. (11/16/08) - Junior Brittany Gibbs (West Deptford, N.J.) scored the game-winner midway through overtime to lift the Kean University field hockey team to a 3-2 overtime victory over Catholic University to win the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Mid-Atlantic Championship on Sunday evening.

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott College Gulls defeated Plymouth State University 1-0 on Tuesday to win the 2008 ECAC Field Hockey Championship. The Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Year Anna Giannoni (Granby, Conn.) scored in the 36th minute to break the 0-0 tie off of a pass from fellow freshman Alexandra Parese (Wilton, Conn.).

Wellesley, Mass. - Wellesley Field Hockey defeated Mount Holyoke in the ECAC Championships 1-0. Scoring in the final minute of play became a trademark for the Blue throughout the ECAC Tournament. In the semifinal round Wellesley trailed Simmons College until fresh-year Becca Lecrec (Middletown, MD) forced the game into overtime, in the final minute of play, scoring on a corner.
