CHICOPEE, Mass. - Trinity College won the 2007 ECAC Men's Division III New England Golf Championship at Chicopee Country Club, after posting a team total of 599 (+31).  Nichols College entered the day tied with Trinity at 299, but could not keep up the pace and settled for second place with a score of 607.  Three teams finished in a tie for third at 624 - Springfield College, Johnson & Wales University, and University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth.

Bryan Smith (pictured below) of Castleton State College claimed the medalist honors with a 36-hole total of 141 (-1).  Pat Pio from Nichols was the runner-up medalist, five strokes behind Smith at 146.  Trinity's Josh Grossman finished in the third position with a total of 147.
