Penn State Wins 2007 ECAC Division I Men's Tennis Invitational

Flushing, NY - Penn State University earned its first ever ECAC Division I Men's Tennis Invitational Title after defeating Princeton University (5-2) for the first time in program history at the USTA National Tennis Center on Monday.
Penn State earned the number one seed in the tournament and did not lose a match until the seminal round against No. 4 Harvard. The Nittany Lions earned 7-0 wins over No. 16 Saint Joseph's (first round) and No. 8 Dartmouth (quarterfinals).
With the win, Penn State receives an automatic bid to the 2008 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Team Indoor Championships in February.
