St. Francis College (N.Y.) Takes 2005 ECAC Men's Water Polo Title Over Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - The St. Francis College Men's Water Polo team defeated Princeton Univeristy, 10-6, in the final of the 2005 ECAC Men's Water Polo Championship to win its second straight ECAC title.

The Terriers were led by Botond Szalma and Bogdan Petrovic. Both registered three goals a piece. Goalie Dusko Radonavac had 5 saves and stopped two Princeton penalty shots. Before defeating Princeton, the Terriers beat MIT yesterday afternoon by the score of 16-6 and then beat the Naval Academy 14-9 to advance to today's Championship game.

Game 3 - St. Francis 16, MIT 6

Game 4 - Navy 11, Brown 7

Game 5 - Johns Hopkins 8, Harvard 7

Game 6 - Brown 10, MIT 6

Game 7 - Princeton 6, Bucknell 5

Game 8 - St. Francis 14, Navy 9

7th place - MIT 8, Harvard 7

5th place - Johns Hopkins 9, Brown 8

3rd place - Navy 6, Bucknell 2

1st place - St. Francis 10, Princeton 6
