HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women’s soccer team claimed its second-straight Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Metro Championship on Sunday in Hoboken at the De Baun Athletic Complex with a 1-0 win over rival New York University. Stevens (15-5-2) got a goal from senior Meghan Tennyson in the fourth minute of action, and the Stevens midfield and defense was able to hold the NYU offense at bay over the final 85-plus minutes of action. Sophomore Sonia Kappeler was named the ECAC Championship’s Most Outstanding Performer after a fantastic performance in the Ducks’ midfield.

WALTHAM, Mass. - For the second year in a row, the Brandeis University women's soccer team has earned the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England crown. The second-seeded Judges defended the title with a 3-1 win over No. 4 seed University of New England. Junior forward Melissa Gorenkoff (Woodbury, N.Y.) was named the tournament MVP after finishing with four goals and two assists in three games.
