Greyhounds capture first place for both the men and women at the 2009 ECAC Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships.


The Greyhounds of Moravian College captured first place for both the men and women at the 2009 ECAC Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at Springfield College, May 14-15.

For the women's events, Moravian compiled a total of 67 points for the top score.  Carbini College finished in second place with 60 points followed by MIT with 58 points. 

Sumer Rohr of Frostburg State was honored as the Female Most Outstanding Performer.

For the men's events, Moravian compiled a total of 64.5 points for the top score followed by RIT with 45 points. Ithaca and RPI were tied for third place with 36 points.

Nate Tussey of Moravian was honored as the Male Most Outstanding Performer.
