Brandeis wins 2008 ECAC Division III New England Softball Championship

WALTHAM, Mass. - The Brandeis University softball team won the ECAC Division III New England tournament championship in dramatic fashion today, as the Judges defeated Keene State College, 6-5, in the championship game by scoring three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- The Union College softball team won its second straight ECAC Division III Upstate Softball Championship title with a 6-4 comeback victory over Alfred Sunday afternoon at Alexander Field. The Dutchwomen rallied for three runs in the bottom of the fifth to take the lead and were backed by a seven-strikeout relief effort from tournament Most Outstanding Player Ginni Sack.
2007 ECAC Division III Southern Softball Championship

Westminster College has been selected the top seed in the 2007 ECAC Division III Southern Softball Championship. Westminster enters the tournament with an overall record of 24-13 and a first place finish in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. The tournament is a six-team field with play-in round, semifinal and championship rounds.
