BOSTON, Mass. - Georgetown University accumulated a team total of 86 points to win the 2008 IC4A Indoor Track & Field Championship for the first time since 2002. The Hoyas had finished third the past two years, but worked themselves back to the top this year for their 12th title in school history.

BOSTON, Mass. - The St. Lawrence University men's team got individual wins in the 1 Mile, Shot Put, and Weight Throw events to earn a total of 69 points and a first place finish at the 2008 Division III Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships. Moravian College took second place with a score of 59, while Nazareth College finished a distant third with 38 points....

The ECAC and Stony Brook University's Department of Athletics are mourning the loss of former track & field standout Roger Gill ('95). He was killed early Sunday morning in an auto accident in Brooklyn along with another Stony Brook alumnus, Warren Davies ('97). Gill is survived by his wife, Annette ('96) and their four children. He was 35. Gill was a two-time ECAC MVP and after Stony Brook went on to represent Guyana in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

A trio of SUNY Brockport Men's Track & Field athletes won individual titles to lead the team to the 2007 ECAC Division III Track and Field Championships March 2-3 hosted by Wesleyan University.
