Seven teams will compete for this years championship. The 2009 ECAC Division III Women's Gymnastics Championships was won by Brockport State Saturday, at Ursinus College. The Golden Eagles won with a team score of 189.150. Ithaca College placed second with 187.950, while Cortland State came in third at 184.125.

Temple Universitys Katie Canning scored a three career best over the weekend in Alaska to earn ECAC Division I Womens Gymnastics Gymnast of the Week honors. Other recipients are Towsons Kacy Catanzaro (Rookie), Yales Sarah Hughes (Coaches Choice) and Penns Sarah Parsons (Specialist).

Brockports Lauren Gildemeyer registered the second highest all-around score in Brockport history over the weekend to earn ECAC Division III Womens Gymnastics All-Around of the Week honors. Also receiving weekly awards are Wilsons Laura Beck (Rookie) and Brockports Carrie Rock (Specialist).
