Leading the Bears to a season high (while battling a shoulder injury), Binkley posted personal best scores on vault, beam and floor over the weekend. She won floor, earning the fourth highest floor score in school history.

Rookie of the Week

Although Milardo is only a freshman, she competed like a veteran this past weekend.  She was top scorer for the Tribe on both Vault (9.575) and Bars (9.6).  Her bars score was good enough for a sixth place finish overall.  She posted career highs on vault and floor.  Her score of 9.7 on floor was the Tribes' second highest score of the night on that event.  She went 4-for-4 and hit a nice beam set which scored a 9.4.  Her efforts placed her third in the all-around for the night. (38.275).

Due to personal reasons Segal left the Bears squad during the first semester of her freshman year. She made a commitment to get in shape and returned to the team this year.  After being away for three year's she stepped up for Brown, posting a huge, career high 9.8 on floor over the weekend.

At a quad meet at Penn State this weekend, Senior Co-Captain Jordan Brewer really showed her team great leadership.  Penn started off on bars, where Brewer is the anchor for the team.  She knew she needed to hit, but in the middle of her routine on a major skill, she was a little short on slammed both of her shins on the bar and was unable to finish her routine.  Everyone knew how much pain she was in, but she just sat on the sidelines while the trainer stopped the bleeding and taped her up.  Brewer could have sat out the rest of the meet, but she came back and hit the next three events and as usual was one of the top scores for the day.  With the fall on bars she scored an 8.10.  On beam she scored a 9.55, floor a 9.30 and vault a 9.475.  As a captain, we really feel that she showed her team true leadership this weekend.
