All-Around of the Week
Lauren Gildemeyer, SUNY-Brockport
Junior, Baldwinsville, N.Y.

Gildemeyer registered the second-highest all-around score in Brockport history with a 38.5 over the weekend.  She made a large contribution on balance beam, where Brockport went 6-for-6 and defeated visiting Cortland in a meet on Saturday, February 21.  Gildemeyer led the way for Brockport's highest team score of the season.

Rookie of the Week
Laura Beck, Wilson College
Freshman, Coopersburg, Pa.

Beck had a great day this weekend at a dual meet against West Chester.  She had her career high on vault (8.95), bars (8.225), beam (8.55) and floor (8.45).  Her all around score (34.2) was good enough for third in the meet.  Beck has had to battle back from a summer ACL tear.  She was cleared in late December to return to full training.  She was competing the all around by January 10!

Specialist of the Week

Carrie Rock, SUNY-Brockport
Senior, Chambersburg, Pa.

Rock scored a 9.625 on floor, 9.55 (first place) on balance beam and a 9.3 on vault over the weekend.  She is coming off elbow surgery which has limited her skills until this year. She assisted in Brockport's highest team score of the year on February 21 against Cortland.
